1892 - Founded in
Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1982, Hamilton transformed the American
watchmaking industry and became a part of American history.
Hamilton produced its first watch in 1893, designed by H.J. Cain,
one of the company's founding members.2004 - Precision
timekeeping above and below sea-level - with the new Hamilton khaki
Navy GMT. The Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT divers' watch is by no
means restricted to underwater timekeeping. In additional to
being water resistant to a depth of 200 meters (660 feet), the khaki
Navy GMT is capable of measuring time in two different time zones on
dry land. A total of 24 cities on or near to the ocean are available
for selection for a second time zone. The new Hamilton
timepiece is the latest expression of an action-oriented and
pioneering tradition dating back almost 100 years.
